Amazing space with a parking spot and a fantastic hostess. We really enjoyed the place and plan to use again in the future. We’ve stayed at many places elsewhere and in Jerusalem and this place is one of our favorites. 3 full bedrooms and a combined kitchen/ living room/ dining room. While the primary entrance to the building has steps there is a parking lot next door that allows you to enter through it without steps (can roll up a stroller). Building itself has an elevator. 2 great improvements by the hostess while we were here at our request: additional light installed in hallway and internet speed increased. Overall would highly recommend this place. With the parking spot below and the mini market always open (except Sabbath) it is really an amazing place to be. Tamara is extremely responsive and easy to work with.

We just stayed in this short term rental and could not have been happier! Tamara was wonderful to deal with. The apartment was perfect size for our needs and clean. And the location was convenient to all Jerusalem. (With makolet downstairs for anything you may need). Highly recommended 😁

Very nice, modern, clean, comfortable apartment in a good location. Loved having a bakery and 24 hour grocery right below and a convenient parking spot to use. We recommend this apartment highly and would stay there again.

Really good space for a family. Very comfortable sitting and dining areas and bedrooms. Kept very clean and tidy with basically no clutter. There was an issue where we had different expectations about the kitchen than the hosts. They were extremely receptive when we expressed our concerns and have already corrected the problem for future tenants. They are very gracious and the communication throughout was timely and helpful.

And what a location!

My husband and mom went to Yakar on Friday night and she walked to the Great Synagogue on Shabbat.

And we were 5 mins walk to our family friends for lunch.

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It is in a great location and is kitted out really well. The layout is great with a really nice size living area, great size bedrooms, and everything we needed was there and conveniently laid out. There were books and games to keep the kids occupied, and a lovely balcony with great views which we enjoyed. Also very well equipped for Shabbat and Kosher guests. Highly recommend!

Batyah:

Recently my family traveled to Israel during Corona to see some of our children. We were connected with Katamon Rental and Tamara Okun through friends and it was a fabulous recommendation! The apartment is very well kept and the accommodations comfortable. The apartment is light and airy with a mirpeset and excellent Wi-Fi - both necessary for us during our quarantine for fresh air and remote working/learning. The kitchen had pots and utensils for both dairy and meat and we made use of the kitchen often as the first two weeks upon arrival we couldn't go anywhere. Once we were able to get out and about, we discovered how prime a location this was. Just a short walk to Emek Refaim and the Mesilah ( old train tracks) - it was great to be able to take nice walks and get coffee most mornings. It was an easy walk to First Station as well and if you really wanted a nice walk, Machane Yehuda is about 2-3 kilometers. The rental comes with a covered parking spot which we utilized when we rented a car and it was nice to not have to fight for street parking. I would highly recommend Katamon Rental as a great place to stay.

Well I am kind of scared to tell you about this place I found.. Coz u all might start staying there..and then when I want to go back it will be packed!!

Well this weekend we stayed in another place in katamon in jlm. Was super super clean!

3 bedrooms, 7 beds, modern kitchen, renovated bathroom balcony , centrally located. Wonderful hosts.

The place was soooo amazing. Definately going back!

We spent a lot of time in this apartment due to circumstances out of control, and our whole family really loved it there. It is very comfortable with all the all the amenities you would expect. A kosher kitchen was important for us and everything was in order. Whenever we ran into any issues, which was extremely rare, both Tamara and Danny were always available and attentive. The apartment is in a great location for tourists and locals alike. And, the balcony offers a great view of Jerusalem. Of course, this is also a great road to be on for a local Makolet, some good quality restaurants and plenty of shuls nearby. Highly recommend! Shira and Ben

Our family of 7 planned a month-long visit to Israel, and were so fortunate to find this apartment in the heart of Jerusalem. Located on the 3rd floor in historic Katamon, the apartment was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed to make our visit a success, including a dedicated parking spot under the building. Besides a kosher kitchen and an “American-sized” refrigerator, everything we needed for Shabbat was there: candles, plata, Kumkum, kiddush cup, challah knife, challah cover, and Havdalah set!  Even a Shabbat-mode elevator.  The videos on the laundry machine, refrigerator, oven operation, and air conditioning were clear and easy to understand.  We enjoyed the small makolet, bakery, and restaurants on the block.  The #13 bus at the base of the building is a mere 15 minutes to the old city!  Tamara was always responsive and extremely friendly. I would strongly recommend this apartment to any visitors who are looking for a centralized location and an accommodating host! Thank you Tamara and Daniel!
